I mentioned in Episode 4 that Lviv got it's coffee culture from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, but the rest of Ukraine knew about coffee long before than as the Zaporizhian Cossacks drank coffee regularly due to their interaction with the Tatars and Ottoman Empire.
